Rules concerning personal information

Basic policy concerning personal information

CKD NIKKI DENSO CO., LTD. (hereinafter referred to the Company) understands that it is a crucial corporate social responsibility to comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and appropriately handle the information that can identify a specific customer, including the customer’s name, company name, address, phone number, and email address (hereinafter referred to as personal information). Based on this understanding, we have in place a basic policy concerning the protection of personal information as described below.
When acquiring personal information, we specify the purpose of its use and acquire it within the necessary scope by lawful and fair means.
Please be advised that, when you request catalogs or send inquiries by email, we store the contents of those requests and inquiries for confirmation.

Specification of the purpose of use

We will not use the personal information, acquired as stated above, out of the scope of the purpose of use without the consent of the customer concerned.
We will use the acquired personal information to:

  1. Provide the customer with sales promotional information about our products, services, etc.
  2. Conduct customer surveys to consider possible measures for product planning and development, customer satisfaction improvement, etc.
  3. Perform tasks necessary to respond to the customer’s inquiries, ensure a quicker service, etc.
  4. Fulfill the other purposes of use specified when the personal information is acquired.
  5. To take actions in compliance with laws, regulations, administrative authorities’ notices and guidance, etc.

Provision of personal information to a third party

We will not provide the personal information, acquired as stated above, to any third party without the consent of the customer concerned, except for cases set forth in 5 above.
We may provide personal information to a contractor within the scope necessary for achieving the purpose of use.
In such a case, we will ask the contractor to handle the provided personal information appropriately to ensure appropriate management of the personal information.
